SLB is Hiring a Quality Technician Near Shreveport, LA

The Quality Technician is responsible for conducting quality control activities such as inspections and reporting within the assigned organization.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct tests and inspect documentation, parts and components, materials, subassemblies and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and standard work instructions.

  • Use measurement equipment with valid calibration and apply acceptable repeatability and reproducibility.

  • Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs. 

  • Document the results of inspections and tests using the designated business system, following applicable procedures and test plans.

  • Verify the stability of results over time, as applicable. 

  • Ensure good housekeeping within own work area. 

  • Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to relating Risk Assessments. 

  • Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • High school diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or related experience. 

  • Ability to read and interpret procedures / drawings.

  • Carry out written and oral instructions. 

  • Write legibly. 

  • Basic computer skills

  • Experience with quality control or inspections preferred.
