The Quality Technician is responsible for conducting quality control activities such as inspections and reporting within the assigned organization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Conduct tests and inspect documentation, parts and components, materials, subassemblies and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and standard work instructions.
Use measurement equipment with valid calibration and apply acceptable repeatability and reproducibility.
Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.
Document the results of inspections and tests using the designated business system, following applicable procedures and test plans.
Verify the stability of results over time, as applicable.
Ensure good housekeeping within own work area.
Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to relating Risk Assessments.
Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
High school diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or related experience.
Ability to read and interpret procedures / drawings.
Carry out written and oral instructions.
Write legibly.
Basic computer skills
Experience with quality control or inspections preferred.
